About the event
We explored the essence of spring with Ohara School Of Ikebana Grand Master Ingrid Luders. Her exposure to Ikebana and studies in Japan, including the Japanese language, has given her a broad view of how Ikebana has been evolving over the years. Her love for nature and Japanese arts is integral to her life, and her exposure to nature in different parts of the world has only deepened her appreciation. Ingrid is deeply devoted to the Ohara School, which emphasizes the observation of nature and art.
In this demonstration, she intended to offer attendees a visual and spiritual experience by showcasing a broad range of Ohara School styles, from traditional to contemporary designs. Ultimately, the aim was to renew viewers' appreciation for Ikebana and the importance of preserving nature's beauty.
